Far infrared technology has typically lived in two worlds: clinical devices too bulky for daily life, and consumer wellness products too vague to trust. The gap between medical-grade efficacy and wearable convenience has persisted for decades.
Based on a foundational biophysics patent, I founded Sol-Ray Biophysics™ to create the first true wearable far infrared health technology—jewelry engineered to support circulation, recovery, and energy balance without electronics, heat, or wires. The goal was simple but ambitious: translate clinical-grade infrared therapy into something beautiful, durable, and wearable.
What makes Sol-Ray different lies in its material transformation process. Each piece begins with optically clear glass or crystal—materials already capable of interacting with light. These are then exposed to a proprietary treatment involving structured light, polarization, and mirrored geometry, which permanently alters the internal vibrational state of the material.
Here's how it works: the treated crystals absorb your body's own thermal waste heat and ambient light, then gently reflect and redirect that energy back into your skin as therapeutic far infrared in the 4–14 micron range. This isn't metaphysical. Sol-Ray products have been independently lab tested to verify far infrared output. Each piece functions as both jewelry and micro-scale therapeutic device.
Sol-Ray created a new category of health technology—one that bridges clinical-grade function with everyday wear. It's not just jewelry. It's a wearable far infrared generator, powered by your own thermal energy and backed by decades of peer-reviewed research.

Building on that foundation, I became Chief Technology Officer and head of marketing and education for Relax Saunas, considered the most advanced far infrared sauna system in the world. Relax Saunas are trusted by health professionals, athletes, and wellness seekers worldwide, known for their ability to promote recovery, enhance performance, and support holistic wellness. My role spans from technology development to educational outreach, ensuring both practitioners and consumers understand the science behind what they use.
In this capacity, I bridged innovation and application, translating the core physics of far infrared light into tangible health outcomes. The Relax Sauna’s patented semiconductor technology delivers concentrated therapeutic wavelengths that resonate directly with the body’s cells, creating measurable effects in circulation, detoxification, and cellular repair. My work has focused not only on refining these technologies but also on building the framework for trust—ensuring that every claim is grounded in peer-reviewed research and accessible education. By doing so, we helped shift the conversation around saunas from “luxury spa amenity” to validated medical-grade therapy.
Equally important has been the task of communication. As CTO and head of education, I’ve worked to demystify the science for diverse audiences—from physicians and chiropractors integrating Relax Saunas into their practices, to professional athletes seeking faster recovery, to everyday individuals looking for long-term wellness. By combining rigorous technical development with clear, engaging outreach, I’ve been able to show that advanced light therapies are not niche or experimental, but a powerful tool already transforming lives around the world.
My work extends beyond products and into thought leadership and education. I am writing the upcoming Cannabis Illuminated, set to set to be published in 2026, hopefully becoming a favorite among enthusiasts and entrepreneurs alike. I am also editing and adding the most recent science to my program From Seed to Cell: The Science of Cannabis, the only fully annotated cannabis education program that delivers Continuing Education (CE) credits nationwide for doctors and licensed medical professionals. That program bridges the knowledge gap between clinical care and cannabis science, bringing evidence-based clarity to one of the world’s fastest-evolving industries.
From wearable infrared technology to advanced therapeutic systems and education, my goal has been to merge cutting-edge biophysics with real-world accessibility. Whether it’s helping an athlete recover faster, improving a patient’s wellness outcomes, or teaching the next generation of health professionals, I focus on practical, evidence-based solutions that work.

I recently completed development of an accredited light therapy curriculum for Great Learning International, designed as a three-credit upper-division or graduate-level course and eligible for continuing education credit for medical professionals. I’ve also built the first standalone proprietary machine-learning architecture dedicated to infrared and light therapy that is both physician- and patient-facing, unified through a common LLM interface.
Most far infrared textiles rely on ceramic powders or carbon fibers that degrade over time, require electrical power, or emit inconsistently. HexTex™ took a different path: nano-graphene lattice technology that transforms any heat source into therapeutic far infrared.
Graphene's hexagonal structure acts as a thermal antenna. When exposed to body heat, sauna warmth, or sunlight, it absorbs that energy and re-radiates it as far infrared. The physics is straightforward: heat goes in, therapeutic wavelengths come out, penetrating 3–5 inches beneath the skin to interact with water molecules and cellular structures.
The experience is distinct from electric heating pads or passive blankets. Users report deep, organic warmth that enhances circulation, accelerates recovery, and promotes restorative calm. Research on graphene-based FIR emissions shows measurable increases in alpha and theta brainwave activity—patterns associated with meditative states and parasympathetic activation.
HexTex™ created a new category: passive far infrared amplification through engineered materials. It's not heated fabric. It's a wearable far infrared generator, activated by your body's own thermal energy and backed by materials science.

I hold or have pending multiple FIR-related patents in materials science, including:
AI-designed hexagonal lattice graphene yarns for FIR-emissive textiles
Emissive mineral-based cosmeceuticals for acne, rosacea, inflammation, and skin aging
Recyclable FIR waxes and creams for pain and recovery
FIR crystal matrix tuning, including novel AI-designed emissive crystals
